Watch “Memories – Journal Them” on YouTube

This inspiration came from reading Joshua 11 and 12. In these chapters, the conquests of Joshua was recorded and the amount of kings he and Moses overthrew. We don’t memorise these verses because they were written for the purpose of documenting what happened. But they should inspire us to likewise document all the things God has done for us and the battles we fought so we can have our written testimony to pass down to our children. The last Scripture I spoke about is from Mark 5:1-20.

This video is fitting for the celebration of Black History Month. What would we be celebrating if they’re was no record of what took place in the past? Nothing. However, all because the the events and experiences of blacks were recorded, we are able to see where the black race is coming from and celebrate where the race is now, in terms of education, profession, and acceptance.
